L’azurde, the largest gold and jewelry designer, manufacturer, and distributor in the Middle East, is collaborating with the iconic fashionista Lady Fozaza to raise awareness and funding to fight breast cancer as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Working closely with L’azurde’s craftsmen, AlAnoud Badr, better known as Lady Fozaza, has designed a striking bracelet enabling women to express their solidarity against the disease, while also raising money for Breast Cancer Arabia. The versatile bracelet, themed around the concept “The wings of hope”, has been specifically designed as an exquisite, desirable piece fashioned from hued pink and 18k gold. Part of the proceeds raised through the sale of each bracelet, retailing for AED/SAR950, will be donated to the charity, which supports women with breast cancer find access to specialised treatment and care. The bracelet will be available in L’azurde’s stores and online through its website: www.lazurde.com.

Commenting on her involvement in supporting the noble cause, AlAnoud Badr said: “Breast Cancer Arabia continues to perform outstanding work in the Middle East sponsoring treatment for women diagnosed with breast cancer who are unable to afford their medical costs. Donating part of the proceeds from the sale of L’azurde’s elegant bracelets will raise funding to support breast cancer treatment. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide and affects all women either directly, or through the experiences of friends and relatives. Therefore, the bracelet also allows women to unite in solidarity against the disease.”

The Breast Cancer Arabia Foundation was established in 2011 with an aim to help improve breast cancer treatment and care in the Middle East. Its primary objective is providing financial assistance to women diagnosed with breast cancer who are unable to afford their surgery and treatment costs.
