Kuwait confirms presence at Milipol Qatar 2016

Milipol Qatar 2016, the region’s most influential international event for Homeland security officially announces the participation of companies from Kuwait, amongst other regional and global firms. The exhibition officially takes place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, West Bay, Doha from October 31 to November 2, 2016. It presents the perfect opportunity for companies to showcase their products and services and network with other firms  in the fields of security, safety, detection and prevention equipment and systems, as well as various other defence supplies during the course of the three-day event.

Organized by the Ministry of Interior of the State of Qatar in partnership with the French-based Comexposium Security, under the patronage of Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar,  this year’s exhibition will also feature conferences covering key topics such as critical infrastructure protection, crisis management & resilience, safe cities, crowd and large events security management. The new Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre is located in the middle of shopping malls and hotels and provides easy access for participants.

Muriel Kafantaris, Exhibition Director, Milipol Qatar 2016 explains “The nature of security measures have evolved rapidly in response to new regional and global concerns and the exhibition will showcase the region’s response to these challenges. New technologies are expected to be a key subject of discussion at this year’s event.”  “Milipol Qatar 2016 is exclusive in that it focuses on the distinctive security issues of the region covering critical infrastructure protection, crisis management & resilience, and safe cities, crowd & large events security management. Interestingly, a range of new products and services customised to suit these themes will be on display by Milipol Qatar,” she added.

Kuwait, like before, has been a keen participant at the exhibition and this time will be represented by Al Hadaf Company - a leading supplier of guns, ammunition and accessories including hunting and equestrian equipment.

The exhibition follows the launch of the new website which is more informative, more engaging and more interactive. It has been designed to provide the ultimate user-friendly experience with improved functionality and navigation right through, allowing viewers to access material easily with the option to share information across key social networking channels.

The attractive design of the website uses the latest technology so the site is compatible with today's browsers and devices including a mobile version.

The various departments of the Ministry of Interior of Qatar will also be present with their own stands including the Police Force, Civil Defence, Internal Security Force (Lakhwiya).
