The pavilion of the Saudi Ministry of Interior at GITEX Technology Week 2018 continues to welcome visiting delegates, dignitaries and government officials during the Middle East's premier technology event.

Day two of GITEX saw thousands of visitors to the Ministry of Interior’s stand, where they toured the various sectors and departments participating within the booth. Among these, visitors were introduced to the Center of Excellence for Biometric Systems and its role in building and applying techniques, that contribute to enhancing the national security level in the Kingdom by building a central database of DNA linked to other databases in the framework of the Center's vision. This enables the Ministry to keep pace with the high level of security Saudi Arabia is witnessing the latest technologies and services, in line with international standards established by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
