Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman inaugurated a number of development projects in Madinah on Thursday evening and graced a ceremony by the people of Madinah.
The ceremony began by a reading of verses of the Holy Quran.
During the ceremony, a number of speeches were delivered. They included a welcoming speech by Osamah Jaafar Faqih on behalf of Madinah's people.
Two poem were also delivered.
Then, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud delivered a speech in which he said: "I am please and I am honored to be in Madinah these nowadays. We are honored as the family to serve the two holy mosques. This is not only a responsibility but it is also honor for us."
The Custodian of the Two holy Mosques stressed that as the family and people serve the two holy mosques, confirming that the pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors enjoy security and tranquility. He pointed out that this service is a great grace from Allah Almighty.
"I speak to you frankly. Our pride is in Allah Almighty and then the two holy mosques. The two holy mosques are enjoyed safety and tranquility," King Salman added.
"As I always tell you. If anyone of you see something targeting this state's faith or its citizens, I am pleased to meet himher to express oneself," King Salman concluded.
