King’s Umrah hosting program commended

One hundred distinguished Islamic guests of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman paid tribute to the Saudi monarch after performing Umrah under his Umrah hosting program.

The visit, which lasted 10 days, took the guests to various locations around the Two Holy Mosques. They met with the king to express their gratitude for his gesture, said the organizer and head of the program, Abdullah Al-Medlej.
Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Saleh Al-Asheikh, general supervisor of the program, also received them during their stay in the Kingdom.
According to him, the guests, including heads of associations, Islamic universities and academics, unanimously praised the prestigious status of King Salman in the hearts of Muslims and his policy in extending all avenues for the well-being of the Muslim Ummah.
They said the Kingdom’s leadership rallies behind Muslims under all circumstances, and the Umrah program is one of the significant programs that creates open communications and convergence among Muslim scholars, adding that the program gave them a chance to become acquainted with this very sacred place in the world.
“It is also one of the most important programs that seeks to unify the words of Muslims and their hearts,” they observed, adding that such meetings were an opportunity to discuss matters that promote bilateral relations between the Kingdom and their countries in various areas of Islamic works.
At their meeting with Al-Asheikh, they also discussed ways to preach Islam, to address the challenges faced by the Muslim Ummah and the role of Muslim scholars in the face of threats that target the Islamic nation in its security and stability.
They also discussed ways to deal with young people, stressing the need to guide them with wisdom that will keep them away from the dangers that target them and their faith.
