Jordan loses from South Korea in preparation for World Cup

 

Jordan's basketball team lost to South Korea 69-64 on Friday in their opening match of the friendly William Jones Cup, their last pre-World Cup qualifier.

The basketball team that is participating in the 41th edition of the pre-tournament hosted by China Taipei،Jordan's participation in the preparations for the World Cup next month in China, where the draw in Group 7 and the teams of the Dominican Republic, France and Germany.

Jordan will play their second game of the William Jones Cup against the Philippines at 8 am Amman time. The current version of the William Jones Cup is currently being played by nine teams, with a one-stage split system that runs until July 21.
