Ithra Dubai, a powerhouse landowner, developer and operator of community-oriented real estate projects, proudly celebrates a double victory at this year’s Big Project Middle East Awards 2019 in an award ceremony held on November 26, 2019 at The Oberoi Hotel in Business Bay, Dubai. 

 

Ithra Dubai, fully owned by Investment Corporation of Dubai, was named Developer of the Year for its contribution to the construction industry in Dubai and was awarded Mixed-Use Project of the Year for the iconic One Za’abeel development. The double accolade validates Ithra Dubai’s commitment to excellence and innovation via ground-breaking real estate solutions and the enhancement of the lives of the Emirate’s community mix.

 

This year’s edition of the Big Project ME Awards attracted more than 140 nominations across 20 categories and celebrated the achievements of individuals, organizations and projects in the construction industry at a prestigious event attended by over 300 high profile guests. 

 

On winning Developer of the Year, Mr. Issam Galadari, Chief Executive Officer and Board member of Ithra Dubai, said: “Being recognized for our promise to Dubai and its people gives us great pleasure. We continue to strive to deliver on value through state-of-the-art projects such as One Za’abeel and the Deira Enrichment Project, where we are rejuvenating Dubai’s historic heart of commerce, and we remain committed to environmental and economic sustainability.”

Noting that Ithra Dubai won “Infrastructure Leader of the Year” in last year’s Big Project Middle East Awards event. The award is granted to government departments and authorities and municipal bodies in the lead for creating and building infrastructure in the region.
