Interior Ministry bans entry of visit visa holders to Makkah from today

The Ministry of Interior announced that entry to or stay in Makkah is prohibited for anyone holding any type of visit visa, from the 15th of Dhu al-Qi'dah 1445 AH until the 15th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1445 AH, the ministry said on its X account.

Visit visa, in all its types and names, does not permit its holder to perform the Hajj pilgrimage, the ministry added. 

It indicated that violators will be subject to penalties as stipulated by the Kingdom's regulations and instructions.
