Insurance benefit expenses reach SAR 10.7 billion in October: GOSI

Saudi Arabia's General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) said that total expenses of insurance benefits surpassed SAR 10.7 billion in October.

The compensation of the unemployment insurance scheme (SANED) exceeded SAR 87.2 million in the same month, while the total pensions for occupational hazards reached more than SAR 16.3 million, GOSI said in a statement.

The number of transactions online exceeded 1.8 million and the number of GOSI website visitors surpassed 2.1 million.

The number of users that downloaded the GOSI application on smart phones reached over 332,000.
