Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia launched its new generation series of new MateBook products: MateBook X, MateBook E and MateBook D. The launch ceremony was held yesterday at the company's headquarters in Riyadh to expand its diversified portfolio of advanced mobile devices.

Huawei has responded to users and developed a new series of Huawei MateBook devices in three main categories: MateBook X, MateBook E and MateBook D. The new series introduces the latest innovations and features that redefine the benefits of mobile devices and PC technologies into one integrated device.

Three devices to suit the needs of entrepreneurs

HUAWEI MateBook X offers a unique and extraordinary experience that combines many exceptional features that meet the needs of entrepreneurs for an efficient and stylish device with exceptional performance. It has a screen ratio of 88%, with a 4.4 mm edge and a remarkable 3:2 display to give users a better viewing experience. With the advanced Space Cooling Technology, the Microencapsulated Phase Change has been first introduced to the devices and is commonly used to refuel the spacecraft, making the MateBook X a fan-free device with a 13-inch screen with powerful 7th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 or i5 processors inside.

It also features a 2K display made of Corning Gorilla Glass and supports eye comfort technology. The computer also features a 41.4-watt-hour battery, the first Dolby Atmos personal computer with speakers designed in cooperation with Dolby. Users will not only enjoy the surround sound experience, but with an immersive sound performance for the first time ever on a computer, with advanced built-in speakers.

Huawei has been able to deliver smart fingerprint technology to the computer and integrate the fingerprint sensor and operating button into a Windows 10 computer. The device supports the new “Windows Hello” feature that allows users to access the device quickly and safely. In addition, the built-in MateBook Manager makes it easy to connect effectively between Huawei's smart phones and the MateBook.

Huawei also launched MateBook E and MateBook D, which offer a unique experience similar to that offered by MateBook X. The MateBook E is a 2-in-1 laptop with a screen ratio of 84%, featuring a new Folio keyboard with an adjustable angle of up to 160 degrees, and 2k touch screen display. The Huawei MateBook E is powered by up to a 7th Generation Intel® Core™ i5 processor.  

The device features an exceptional multimedia experience with Dolby Audio Premium. It has a 33.7Wh battery and uses an independent, encrypted chip for fingerprint authentication, enabling enhanced security and privacy. The HUAWEI MateBook E is equipped with several optional accessories, including a brand-new, multi-functional MateDock 2 and a MatePen**.

MateBook D is a 15.6-inch interactive desktop laptop with 83% of the display and 178-degree viewing angle, with Intel's 7th generation Core i5 or i17 processor, and high graphics processing capabilities on some devices thanks to nVidia’s GeForce 940MX chipset, with Dolby Atmos’s built-in surround sound system.

Prices and availability

The new generation of Huawei MateBook is available in three colors Prestige Gold and Space Gray, with prices starting from 2,899 SAR for MateNook D, 2,999 SAR for MateBook E and 4,599 SAR for the MateBook X. The golden pink color for MateBook X will be available soon in the Saudi market.
