In the series of the new Geely Emgrand models for  2017, and  following the success of Emgrand GT sedan, Haji Husein Alireza & Co Ltd (HHA), the sole dealers for Geely and Geely Emgrand cars in Saudi Arabia, launched  the all-new and the first crossover compact 4WD Geely Emgrand model X7 Sport 2017.

 

Speaking at the official launch ceremony of the new model and in the presence of the press and senior executives of Geely Group, Sheikh Khalid Hussein Alireza, the financial planning director of HHA, said: "Geely and Geely Emgrand are in constant development process, and they have always produced high performance cars at reasonable prices;  without compromising the quality. The X7 Sport is no exception; it represents a new development in the automotive industry which will greatly rise  enthusiasm among our clients and truly  distinct them. "

 

The all-new  dynamic X7 car reflects Geely highly sophisticated spirit of enthusiasm and adventure.

 

The all-new Geely X7 is characterized by its stylish and  strong appearance, where its  design was supervised by the head of the Geely Design department, Chief Engineer and Vice President of Geely, the British Peter Horbury, the ex-designer of Volvo cars. It is the only fuel economy and of reasonable price in  the family crossover SUV  category the compete  with a lot of European models. It delivers a fashionable pattern that blends elegance with sleek and flawless lines."

 

Khalid added:" Last year, Geely introduced the remarkable model Emgrand GT, while the all-new X7 Sport  model will change the concept of the family crossover car concept.  Customers will notice the new features of this model, which enjoys additional power by between 20 and 30 percent compared with its competitors in this category.

 

The car is equipped with 2.4 liter 4-cylinder engine, and six-speed automatic transmission. The first fuel economy engine of international measures. The car delivers an excellent response to torque, with a substantial acceleration in the short and medium distances.  Geely aims to provide a combination of distinctive fuel economy with excellent dynamic performance for everyday use engine.  Geely philosophy for development includes provision of this combination   in its entire vehicle to be launched in 2017.

 

In terms of technical specifications and driving performance the X7 is not less than any competitor's model, especially at the level of passenger safety, where the car is equipped with four airbags, 2 in front, and 2 in both sides. Along with hill start assist system, traction control system and trailer sway control system.
