Gulf Car Wash-Car Care Expo, part of The Middle East Cleaning Technology Week (MECTW) welcomes International Detailing Association (IDA) as the ‘Support Association’ for the first time in the MENA region. IDA will be hosting a 1-day Certification Detailer Course on November 8th, 2017, at the show, to help detailers in the region improve their skills and businesses.

 

After the remarkable success of Gulf Car Wash – Car Care Expo in 2016, this year MECTW 2017 will bring together leading car care, car wash and auto detailing owners, operators, equipment and accessories manufacturers, suppliers and distributors across Middle East and Africa. The technology week saw a massive turnout of quality visitors seeking newer innovations and

technologies in 2016. With new alliances and announcements happening this year, MECTW is garnering a lot of interest from car wash and auto detailing companies/owners, alongside other cleaning and hygiene companies. Middle East Cleaning Technology Week 2017 will be hosted from November 7th-9th, 2017 in Dubai World Trade Centre.

 

Conducted by Keith Duplessie, Customer Development Specialist, IDA Board Member, CD, SV-RT - Certified Trainer, the course is open for members and non-members of IDA. The 6-hour course will cover topics such as Detailing Equipment, Chemicals, Glass and Trim Detailing, Interior Detailing, Leather Care and Cleaning, Paint Correction, Wheels and Tires, Prep Wash and Wash Bay, Detailing Terminology, and Safety and Compliance.

 

Speaking about their association with the show, Keith Duplessie, Customer Development Specialist, IDA Board Member, CD,SV-RT - Certified Trainer, says, “We are excited about this collaboration! It is a natural fit for the IDA and the Expo as it provides both of us an opportunity to reach out to professional detailers in the region in an effort to continue to improve the professionalism and awareness of our industry.”

 

“In our effort to do that, the IDA has committed to putting on a one-day Certification event during the Expo and to having a booth on the show floor to reach out to detailers and help them improve their skills and their business,” added Keith.
