Golden Globes unfolded on Twitter

As Hollywood toasted the best performances of 2015 at the Golden Globes (@goldenglobes) awards show, the celebrations were also unfolding on Twitter. Tweets from the red carpet, celebrity photos behind the scenes and reactions from fans were a lively complement to the broadcast, which generated more than 4.4m Tweets globally (-3 hours/ +10min) And with the#SmartGirlsAsk campaign and Periscope broadcasts, this year’s program offered more opportunities than ever to be a part of the festivities.

 

With Ricky Gervais (@rickygervais) as host, there were some memorable moments during the show. Here are the ones most talked about on Twitter:
