Al Fajer Information and Services, Dubai, UAE, jointly with their Gulf Associates, Gulf Marketing, are organizing the 1st and only International Exhibition for Food, Beverage and Process Technology in Qatar during 2 to 4 April 2017 and have signed with GOIC to organise the Gulf Food Industries Forum

 

Al Fajer Information and Services, Dubai, UAE, a company owned by His Highness Sheikh Hasher Al Maktoum, member of the Ruling Family of Dubai is organizing the 1st and only international exhibition for food, beverage and process technology titled Foodex Qatar in Doha Qatar from 2 to 4 April 2017 at the DECC.  The exhibition will showcase food brands and technology from 15 countries around the globe.

 

Satish Khanna, General Manager, Al Fajer Information and Services, stated that Foodex Qatar will give the food industry in the Middle East and especially Qatar a wider horizon and will encourage the world leaders in the food business to set up their operations in the richest economy, besides creating investment opportunities for the local businessmen to tie up with the brands names in the food business.  Besides, China Pavilion and Thailand Pavilion, exhibitors from Belgium, France, Germany, India, Italy, Mali, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, UAE and United Kingdom, will present their products and technology during this 3 days expo.

 

Khanna also stated that the organizers have signed with The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC), a regional diplomatic organization, who will organize the 1st Forum of GCC Food Products Manufacturers and Food Security Program in conjunction with Foodex Qatar.

 

His Excellency Mr. Abdulaziz Bin Hamad Al-Ageel, GOIC Secretary General, reiterated GOIC’s role as a “regional diplomatic organization aiming at achieving industrial cooperation and coordination to reach economic integration in the GCC region.” He added: “In light of the importance of food products manufacturing and its vital role in achieving food security and self-sufficiency, GOIC decided to hold the 1st Forum of GCC Food Products Manufacturers and Food Security Program in parallel with the 1st International Exhibition for Food, Beverage and Process Technology (FOODEX) in Qatar.”

 

Furthermore, Salah Janahi, CEO of Gulf Marketing, the Gulf Associate of Al Fajer Information and Services, stated that the organizers decided to cooperate with GOIC to organise this Forum to run parallel with the Exhibition in order to introduce investment opportunities in the GCC industrial sector. Moreover, this Forum will provide data on food industries and food security policies in the region and allow for fruitful discussions to promote this vital sector.
