GE celebrates industry partnerships in the Kingdom that support the goals of Saudi Vision 2030

GE (NYSE: GE) today celebrated its partnerships in the Kingdom that are aimed at supporting economic and industrial diversification, driving localized manufacturing, creating new jobs and promoting human capital development.

John Rice, Vice Chairman of GE, hosted a special event to honor high-ranking officials of GE’s partners in the Kingdom, under the theme ‘Partners for Transformation.’

Nabil Habayeb, GE’s President & CEO for the Middle East, North Africa & Turkey, and Hisham Al-Bahkali, GE’s President & CEO for Saudi Arabia & Bahrain, joined John Rice in welcoming senior representatives of Saudi Arabian Industrial Investments Company (SAIIC), Saudi Aramco, Cividale SpA, Middle East Propulsion Company (MEPC), Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON), Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud Foundation (MiSK), Asharqia Chamber, National Industrial Clusters Development Program (NICDP), Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group (HMG), SaudiVax and TAQNIA.

The celebratory event follows a series of partnerships announced by GE last week to support the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. With the new deals, GE is underlining its commitment to strengthen its credentials as the ‘Partner for Transformation’ of the Kingdom. The new initiatives, across the energy, aviation, healthcare and digital sectors, will also help position the Kingdom as a strategic global hub that serves the three continents of Asia, Africa and Europe.

With a presence of over 80 years, three offices and seven facilities, Saudi Arabia accounts for the largest GE workforce in the Middle East with over 2,000 employees driving the Aviation, Healthcare, Oil & Gas, Power & Water and Transportation businesses.
