The watch giant Casio Computer Ltd. – Japan has joined forces with the leading clothing brand Johnny Cupcakes to launch one of G-Shock’s most recent timepieces (GDX6900JC-3). The regional launch has been announced by Mahmood Saleh Abbar Company, Casio’s products approved agent in the Kingdom.

From a sales platform specially designed for the event at “Virgin Megastore” in Red Sea Mall – Jeddah, the launch of G-Shock’s most recent timepieces took place by Casio and Johnny Cupcakes companies, having blended their unique aesthetics to come up with a playful, but tough limited edition timepiece.

Fresh out of the oven and designed to serve more than one, the Johnny Cupcakes X G-Shock collaboration arrives in one of G-Shock’s most popular and recognizable styles – the GDX6900 –  the timepiece is topped with pink, blue, and white sprinkles on an aqua background. The cascading sprinkles on the watch and packaging are an ode to Johnny Cupcakes’ ever-present cupcake motif.

Adding to the colorful and unique sprinkle motif is a pink frosting graphic within the LED backlight, pink band keeper and Johnny Cupcake’s iconic insignia of skull and crossbones, with a cupcake silhouette replacing the skull, engraved on the case back. Fans of Johnny Cupcakes and G-Shock will be sure to see this timepiece as one of many collectible G-Shock timepieces.

The GDX6900JC-3 serves up convenient and effective features such as Shock Resistance , 200M Water Resistance, Auto LED (Super Illuminator), Flash Alert, 3 Multi-function Alarms, World Time (29 Time Zones/48 Cities + UTC), , 1/100th Sec. The festival program included a retail activity as well as a t-shirt design competition with duly allocated valuable prizes.
