Former finance expert turned entrepreneur, Tarek Al Emam, has announced a set of new products following the success of his inaugural invention, the Freezmate. 

The innovative cooling pad, launched in October last year, has helped establish AL Emam as a full-time entrepreneur following an illustrious career as a city banker.

Freezmate products provide cooling and warming technology that lasts several hours in adverse and extreme weather conditions. The pad’s multi-purpose functions vary, from comfortably cooling users at the beach or during sports, to acting as car seat coolers, baby chairs, and more. On top of that, they offer temperature controlled storage for food and beverage, as well as cover for animals affected by heat.

The success of the product, which was introduced in the UAE and KSA at the end of 2015, has prompted AL Emam to launch a new set of products which will appear in March this year.

A convenient and robust tool, AL Emam believes it will become the go-to product for those who seek outdoor adventure in any conditions.

“I am hoping to bring comfort to people who enjoy outdoor activities or walks in the summer, as well as the period in between, to keep them refreshed and comfortable,” the founder said.

AL Emam is looking to expand his reach across the market with Freezmate, as well as his new products, by gaining the attention of enterprises and governments.

“It’s the ideal product for government entities, because it’s ideal for the beach, metro, parks, etc.,” he said.

“Freezmate also provides excellent safety precautions for animals, such as dogs and horses. If you’re walking or riding horses for hours in the Middle East heat, this product can easily keep them cool and comfortable. Moreover, it serves as a cooling product for endurance and steeple racing horses, helping to bring their temperature down much more quickly than other natural methods.  

AL Emam’s passion and enthusiasm is reflected in the product, which has been built with the best materials sourced from all over the world. After 26 failed attempts, the final Freezmate product is of a quality he and his support network are truly proud of.

“It was just me at the start of the journey,” he said. “But the support of my friends and family has always been fantastic.”

AL Emam hopes his latest products will gain more attention following the success of the Freezmate, and hopes to be showcasing his portfolio in full in many more markets across the Middle East soon.
