This year, Fakieh Aquarium, one of the popular attractions offered by Fakieh Leisure and Entertainment Group, is celebrating its 3rd Year Anniversary.  Plans are in progress for a number of celebratory events, a highlight of which will be the lowering into the aquarium of a cake. 

 

“This year our anniversary marks the tremendous progress we have made in the three years that have passed since we opened our doors to the public,” said Jamil Attar, Executive Director of Fakieh Leisure and Entertainment Group. “Today, Fakieh Aquarium contains more than 200 species including sharks, groupers, sting rays, napoleon wrasse, sea horses and jellyfish among many others. We continue to expand the range of marine life and recently we brought the rare and exotic sea dragons from their home waters off the coast of Australia.

 

“In addition to seeing the wonders of the underwater environment of the Red Sea and marvels brought from other seas and oceans around the world, families can enjoy the amazing Dolphin and Sea Lion show every day, and later on this year they will have the opportunity to swim with the dolphins. “
