Emirates Islamic staff visit Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS)

Emirates Islamic, one of the leading Islamic financial institutions in the UAE, recently organised a visit for its employees to Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS), to experience SCHS' specialist services for people with disabilities. The bank also announced disbursement of AED 300,000 as a contribution to SCHS, as part of its commitment to support SCHS' various initiatives for people with disabilities in the UAE.

The visit commenced with a tour of SCHS, followed by a detailed presentation by Mona Abdul Karim Al Yafei, Director-General of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, during which Emirates Islamic employees were provided with an introduction on the organisation’s specialist services and initiatives, including Al Amal School for Deaf, Al Wafa School for Capacity Development and the Physical and Occupational Therapy Department. The Emirates Islamic team spent the day interacting with people with disabilities and the support team.
