Emirates Islamic reinforces commitment to Emiratisation

As part of the bank's strategy to boost nationalisation efforts, Emirates Islamic, one of the leading Islamic financial institutions in the UAE, today announced that it is participating in the ‘Recruitment Open Day’ programme that The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) is organising on a weekly basis from July to September across the UAE. This initiative is in line with the Emiratisation-related objectives of UAE Vision 2021 National Agenda and part of the three-pronged approach that the MoHRE has launched this year to secure 15,000 job opportunities for Emiratis across strategic economic sectors in 2018.

Emirates Islamic’s participation is part of the bank’s commitment to support the UAE’s Emiratisation drive, aimed at increasing the pool of UAE national talent in the banking sector.

Commenting on the bank’s participation, Marwan Salem Abunawas AlMheiri. Chief Human Resources Officer at Emirates Islamic, said: “As part of our commitment to develop and empower the UAE national workforce, we are seeking to recruit around 30 young, talented UAE nationals in the next 100 days in various positions including front and back office roles. We are delighted to participate in MoHRE’s recruitment programme and happy to offer potential candidates, experienced Emiratis and as well as university and high school graduates, an opportunity to contribute to the growth of Islamic finance in the UAE.”
