Glittering fireworks, surprise gifts and some of the world’s favourite TV characters from Cartoon Network made this year’s Eid Al Adha celebrations an event to remember for visitors to Al Qasba, Sharjah’s premier leisure, tourist and family destination

Icons from the animation series Powerpuff Girls – Bubbles, Buttercup and Blossom – entertained young enthusiasts throughout the Eid holiday, who captured the moment with hundreds of photo opportunities.The Powerpuff Girls met with visitors at the Eye of the Emirates Wheel during the Eid festivities from 1-3 September from 6:00 p.m. till 10:00 p.m., rounding off a unique family experience.

The Eye of the Emirates Wheel had an array of giveaways, as well as a variety of fun-filled ‘Meet and Greet’ activities designed for every member of the family. Al Qasba also gave visitors with the chance to enjoy its state-of-the-art cafés and restaurants which provide a complete range of superb international dishes.

 

Al Qasba is operated by Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq). As well as outstanding gastronomic facilities, the attraction also features the Masrah Al Qasba Theatre with a 250-spectator capacity, the Multaqa Al Qasba Conference and Meeting Halls, the Eye of the Emirates Wheel, the KidsFun House, the Al Qasba Musical Fountain and Maraya Art Centre, among many others.
