Dubai Wholesale City, the largest wholesale hub in the world, is organizing a visit to China that targets Chinese investors in a number of major cities, including Yinchuan, Yiwu, Shanghai, and Beijing.

 

A delegation from Dubai Wholesale City, headed by its CEO, Abdulla Belhoul, will hold meetings with government and private organizations in China, to introduce them to Dubai Wholesale City and discuss opportunities to enhance cooperation and future relations. China is an important trade partner for Dubai, with trading volumes reaching AED79 billion in H1 of 2016.

 

Dubai Wholesale City will participate in several trade fairs and events to highlight the key components of the city and the added value that it offers businesses in the wholesale trade sector.

The destination intends to become the world’s leading wholesale trading hub and strengthen the UAE’s position as a pivotal market in global trade. In its first phase, Dubai Wholesale City will serve the food, construction materials, electronics, furniture, machines and equipment, wood, cars, spare parts, and textile and clothes sectors.
