With nearly two months leading up to the highly anticipated event which highlights the world of watches and watchmaking, Dubai Watch Week (DWW) announces a forum dedicated to the Art of Horology covering a diverse and curated programme of topics and participants. 

From October 19 – 22, 2015, the forum will take place at The Empty Quarter gallery in DIFC as part of Dubai Watch Week, the first and largest event dedicated to horology in the region. The forum will welcome over 20 speakers including leading watch curators, authors, historians, writers, collectors, brands and industry professionals.

The Art of Horology Forum reinforces the watch industry’s stand in the region as the first of its kind and enhances the industry’s platform continuing to engage and educate the public as well as watch enthusiasts. Speakers including Aurel Bacs, president of the jury of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Geneve, watch journalist and author Elizabeth Doerr, Marc André Deschoux, founder and editor of TheWatchesTV.com, scholar and collector Auro Montanari and luxury specialist Nazanin Lankarani, will cover such related themes as innovation, creativity and creation. 

This event is organized by Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons and is supported by Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Geneve (GPHG), and The Dubai Mall.
