du concludes GITEX Technology Week involvement with successful showcase of transformative next-generation solutions and technologies

du, from Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC), has concluded its participation at the 40th GITEX Technology Week today, December 10th, having showcased its latest next-generation solutions and technologies during the region’s premier consumer computer and electronics trade show at Dubai World Trade Centre. This year’s event has been the first to be held under new normal conditions during the pandemic, and the exclusive du stand was successfully developed using a consumer-friendly design in line with the highest health and safety standards.

New data centers

 

du announced that two new purpose-built data centers will be introduced in Q1 2021– Dubai Silicon Oasis (DXB2 DSO) and Kizad Abu Dhabi (AUH2). du showcased that they will be fully operational, diversely routed, carrier-neutral, and highly scalable like those before them for ultimately connectivity.  

 

E Health

This past January, du signed a partnership agreement with the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) to deliver the Digital Hospital Platform capable of providing state-of-the-art and best-in-class e-Health solutions and applications to patients, clinicians, and workforces. du is providing smart tracking for COVID-19 patients and collaborating with the Dubai Health Authority to provide electronic health records.

 

du Blockchain Edge

du Blockchain Edge is a mature cloud service hosted on Dubai pulse, serving the brands’ exclusive blockchain platform to provide seamless digital experience and solutions. It guarantees scalability and empowers individuals, enterprises, and government entities to build their own blockchain use cases in no time. Already, there are several notable Blockchain success stories:

DCD strategic partnership: The strategic partnership with Dubai Civil Defense (DCD) will automate business processes and payments settlements between other government entities, enable data exchange, and oversee integration with the URB and KYC network.

Al Wasl Properties Blockchain agreement with SDGE: This entails a consortium governed by Smart Dubai Government Establishment (SDGE) with three more connected entities – Dubai Land Department (DLD), Wasl, and Emirates NBD. All services linked to a digital tenancy contract through this solution will be received within a few minutes.
