deNovo Corporate Advisors CEO named ‘Business Woman of the Year’ at the Arab Woman Awards 2015

The Founder and Chief Executive of deNovo Corporate Advisors, an Independent Middle East focused corporate finance advisory firm, May Nasrallah, was named Business Woman of the Year at the Arab Woman Awards UAE 2015 ceremony. The awards ceremony took place at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Dubai International Financial Centre, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nahayan bin Mubarak Al Nahayan; United Arab Emirates Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Social Development.

The Awards, which aim to provide a platform to recognise significant achievements of Arab women across the GCC, serve as a beacon to inspire young women in the region. During this year’s ceremony, the leader of deNovo Corporate Advisors was recognised for her outstanding achievements especially in the financial industry where she advised on several multibillion dollar landmark transactions for blue chip organisations across the region.

Commenting on the awards, Sue Holt, Executive Director, ITP Consumer, said: “We are honoured that His Highness Sheikh Nahayan bin Mubarak Al Nahayan has extended his support to the Arab Woman Awards. His support brings us a step closer to our mission of providing a platform that raises public awareness of the significant achievements of Arab women. His support also provides us the opportunity to celebrate the region’s most inspirational women who serve as role models and figures of inspiration to the young generation.”

May Nasrallah added: “On behalf of deNovo Corporate Advisors and our whole team, I am really grateful to receive this prestigious award. I dedicate this award to my team who has been relentlessly working with me to build deNovo into the first class regional advisory firm it is today.”

“Our aim is not only to generate business and grow the organisation, but to assist the numerous regional family groups and organisations across the Middle East to achieve their strategic and financial goals and aspirations. We are very passionate about advising on transactions that have positive contribution to the region we live and work in.”

Industry professionals and leaders from across the region attended the Arab Woman Awards ceremony. Winners were selected by a judging panel comprising ten of the region’s most respected women professionals. The Arab Woman Awards was launched in 2009 and have, to date, awarded 270 Arab females from countries across United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
