CPC Sponsors Arab Construction and Projects Forum

Construction Products Holding Company “CPC” has announced its Platinum Sponsorship of the “Arab Construction and Projects Forum” to be held in Egypt from 24 -25 May, 2015 under the patronage and presence of the Prime Minister of Egypt Engineer Ibrahim Mehleb.

This sponsorship confirms the position of CPC to continue contributing to the economic development process in Egypt where the company has been operating since 2007 and investing in a number of major projects in various industrial sectors, in addition to its support for a number of social and educational initiatives to the community.
Commenting on this sponsorship, Dr. Faysal Alaquil, CPC Director of Business Development & head of “Binaa Wa Amal” stressed that this sponsorship showcases CPC’s continuous commitment to Egypt through sponsoring the “Arab Construction and Projects Forum” which comes after the success of Egypt Economic Development Conference and also because it focuses on Egypt’s mega planned projects.

He said: “The current Egyptian government is taking solid steps towards full economic recovery. As such, we at CPC believe that now is the time for us to stand and show our commitment and we are looking forward to further achievements and expansions in Egypt.”
This sponsorship comes simultaneously with CPC’s recently announced agreement with Egyptian Ayadi Company for Development and Investment to build 10 industrial cities for SMEs at a cost of U$D 500 million.

Furthermore, CPC has signed earlier a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the American University in Cairo (AUC) that will provide research funds, scholarships, training and career development opportunities to the university students.
The forum is expected to bring together a large number of government officials from Egypt and the Arab world, leaders and decision makers of investment, contracting, engineering and other sectors, in addition to a number of financial, banking and investment institutions from both the public and private sectors.
