His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Bin Salem Al Ruwais, Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC), honored “Mobily” during its participation in Stimulation of Investment and ICT Trends Forum which was organized by the Commission in its head office in Riyadh.

 

The honoring shield was received on behalf of Mobily by Eng. Majed A. Alotaibi, Senior Executive Officer Strategic Planning & Marketing at Mobily Business. Eng. Alotaibi reviewed in his presentation Mobily’s transformation journey since its launch in 2005 till now starting from mobile phone to providing data, could computing, data centers, information security, and internet of things (IoT). He also talked about the rapid increase in data and internet usage in the Kingdom.

 

Alotaibi also reviewed advanced Telecom and IT technologies like; cloud computing, IoT, data centers, and information security. He also stressed on the importance of 2030 Vision role in creating huge investment opportunities for Telecom and IT sector.

 

It is worth mentioning that the Forum focused on building an active partnership between public and private sector, and supporting local investors’ growth in line with 2030 Vision. That was through three sessions addresses the future of Telecom and IT sector and its regulatory environment.

It is noteworthy that Mobily contributes in advanced business solutions that supports productivity and operational efficiency complying with 2030 Vision, and Mobily Business will continue boosting public and private technical infrastructure.
