Centrepoint opens its 25th store in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia

Centrepoint has recently opened a new store in KSA located in Ibrahim Al Khalil Street in Shouqia-Makkah along with another store in Obhour- Jeddah as well. This marks the retailer’s 25th store in the Western Region.

The 3371 sq.mtr. Shouqia store equipped with its Gender Wise Department (for both Men & Women is aimed at targeting customers within the pilgrim vicinity as well as the local customers. The store opened on 21st May 2015 and was attended by prominent officials Mr. Basim Hayyat, COC Officer and building owner as well as Mr. Najmul Haq, General Manager (Western Region). The store is expected to receive 1500 customers per day.
The 2,984 sp. Mtr Obhour store is located in the Centrepoint area near landmarks such as Weekendzone & Baterji Medical College and is expected to receive a high footfall of 1500 customers per day. The opening of this store is targeted towards increasing brand visibility in the Obhour area and it opened on 1st June 2015.

The Shouqia and Obhour stores also include multiple parking spaces for up to 30 vehicles and 50 vehicles respectively. Commenting on the expansion of Centrepoint stores in KSA and the Western Region, Mr. Vinod Talreja – Director of Centrepoint said, “We are keen to expand within the KSA in order to target all the local customers and provide them with a shopping experience that is well-rounded for them and their families in the same destination. The market share in Makkah has the potential to expand over the next few years and it is a prime location to increase brand visibility in this area. Our customers in KSA are extremely loyal and encourage us to grow and expand as a business.”
