 In celebration of the UAE’s Emirati woman’s day, Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana in collaboration with the award winning Emirati artist, Azza Al Qubaisi, is delighted to invite you to attend a one of a kind workshop “Empower and Inspire Emirati Women”.

Azza Al Qubaisi is a multiple award winning Emirati jewelry sculpture artist. She founded two governmental projects to support and develop hand crafts and established the first platform to showcase local crafts and design in Abu Dhabi named “Made in UAE”. She won the Emirates women award in 2011 and was invited to speak in multiple events. Her art works were showcased both nationally and internationally.

In the UAE, the Emirati women have had the chance to fully emerge in the society thanks to the UAE’s leader’s encouragement and support. Today they have important roles in the country and are successful businesses owners. In the light of previous accomplishments, the UAE celebrates the Emirati women’s day nationwide on the 28th of August.

Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana invites you to attend Azza Al Qubaisi’s speech during which she will talk about her journey as a jewelry artist and social entrepreneur. She will also talk about the struggles she faced to reach this point and how she overcame them. In addition to that she will discuss the needed tools to find inspiration. The attendees will get the chance to partake in her signature interactive public artwork using palm eyes to express themselves.
