Power-packed Eid celebrations are set to unfold at one of Sharjah’s most popular family entertainment destinations, Al Qasba. This will be the first time that Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup from Cartoon Network’s all-time favourite animation series, the Powerpuff Girls, will be in town to make Eid festivities extra special for visitors, especially the youngsters.

 

Throughout the Eid weekend from 1-3 September, Meet and Greet the Powerpuff Girls will take place in Al Qasba at the iconic Eye of Emirates Wheel for the entire family to cherish with their friends and loved ones.

A spectacular show of fireworks will be held at 10:00 p.m. on the first day of Eid. The Eye of Emirates Wheel will be available for rides, offering panoramic views of the Eid celebrations all over Sharjah. Young cartoon enthusiasts will get to meet with the sweet Bubbles, the hot-headed Buttercup, and the strong leader Blossom, and will be presented with several opportunities to take amazing pictures with all of them each day of the Eid holiday from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

“Children truly enjoy their freedom to move around and play in Al Qasba. When here, they dive straight into the wide array of entertainment on offer, play areas, book shops and much more. In keeping with our continuous efforts to be the best destination for families, we have put together an entertaining Eid programme that we believe will be truly enjoyed by everyone,” said Sultan Mohammed Shattaf, Al Qasba Manager.

“To add to the spirit of Eid, there will also be giveaways in keeping with the theme of the Powerpuff Girls for all visitors to the Eye of the Emirates Wheel,” he added.

Al Qasba, Sharjah’s premier leisure, tourism and family destination, is operated by the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq).
