Caltex joins the Big 5 Exhibition

Caltex will launch its latest premium diesel engine oil - Caltex Delo® 400 MGX SAE 15W-40.  The revolutionary formulation constitutes a higher specification, and is specially designed to meet the GCC and Middle East market requirements. This improved formulation will benefit both new and older diesel engines, thereby helping customers to utilize just one heavy duty engine oil that operates efficiently in both high and low- sulphur diesel fuel environments. Operating in the United Arab Emirates for more than 35 years, Chevron Al Khalij markets a wide range of Caltex-Delo branded lubricants across the region.

The launch coincides with Caltex participation in the PMV Big 5 Exhibition the largest infrastructure event in the Middle East set to be held tomorrow in Dubai World Trade Center until 24th of November. The event will connect professionals with global supplier companies of leading concrete machinery, construction vehicles and plant machinery.

According to Adriaan J. de Kok – Area Business Manager, Gulf and Middle East, for Chevron Al Khalij, the registered branch name in the UAE of Chevron Asia Pacific Holdings Limited.:

“The Caltex Delo product range that we will showcase in the exhibition includes new Diesel engine oil and coolants that provide premium protection, performance and bottom-line value for on- and off-road diesel-powered equipment. These products are found in all major industries such as commercial transportation, construction, mining, agriculture, and power generation. It will also provide the public with high quality technical solutions for heavy-duty vehicles powered by low sulfur diesel. Such innovation will reduce periodic maintenance fees and increase the engine’s life.”

Adriaan De Kok added: ““Chevron in the Gulf and Middle East has been providing outstanding quality and meeting the demanding needs of diesel engine oils for over 80 years. Many customers in the region are confronted with challenging situations like high operating temperatures, owning fleet of variant ages, operating in high-Sulphur and ultra-low Sulphur environments. The introduction of Caltex Delo® 400 MGX addresses these challenges, while meeting the latest American Petroleum Institute (API) specification as well as many American and European Original Equipment Manufacturers’ (OEM) approvals. “One of the appealing benefits offered to customers is the synthetic-like performance at the cost of mineral products, which significantly reduces premium lubrication costs”
