Burj Rafal Hotel Kempinski Riyadh has announced the appointments of Juan Uribe as General Manager, and and Patrick Butscher as Executive Assistant Manager. 

Bringing over 30 years' hospitality experience to the new role, Juan Uribe joins Burj Rafal Hotel Kempinski from his most recent position as Regional General Manager & Director of Operations Hospitality Division at AlHokair Group in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

He joined Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts in 1988 as Assistant Executive Housekeeper.  He quickly worked his way up the career ladder in Rooms where he was then later promoted to Assistant General Manager in 2003 and later General Manager at the Le Meridien Eko Hotel & Suites in Nigeria in 2007.  In October 2007 Juan joined InterContinental hotels in various General Manager roles in Guatemala, Republic of Eritrea, Mauritius, Kenya.  He joined Millenium Erbil in 2011 where he then later moved to the Millenium property in Basra Baghdad. Juan then moved to Riyadh where he was managing the Four Points by Sheraton from early March 2012.

Patrick Butscher, however, Patrick has started his career at Kempinski two years ago as Director of Food & Beverage, after 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry and having worked in India, Middle East, Asia and Europe. He worked in different managerial positions in Food & Beverage for Hyatt and InterContinental, such as EAM in charge of F&B, Director of F&B and Assistant Director of F&B.
