Bride Dubai 2019 Comes to an End After a Fantastic 4-day Event at Dwtc

The curtain falls on the wonderful world of BRIDE Dubai 2019, after a jam-packed four days of the latest bridal trends, affordable high-end fashion, influencer meet-and-greets, stunning jewellery, and special offers on the latest innovations from the world of hair, beauty, health and wellness.

Held at Dubai World Trade Centre, from February 6th to 9th, the educational, entertaining and enriching event attracted huge crowds of the most discerning brides-to-be and lifestyle-savvy women across a variety of specially designated zones. Following the huge success of this year’s event, organisers, Informa Exhibitions, are already looking ahead to the Abu Dhabi edition of the event, which will take place from June 26 to 29.

Highlights

Eager spectators gathered every day at the Main Stage in the Magical Secret Garden to catch glimpses of the latest collections from leading designers, such as Sevda Fashion House, Ritu Kumar, Piero Camello, Apple Wang, and Garimon Roferos Couture, Noorkhanjar Artwork, Atelier Zuhra, and Amato Luxe By Furne One, on the catwalk, along with the exclusive BRIDE Fashion Shows. Daily demonstrations from Tips & Toes, Savoir Flair, Emirates Specialty Hospital, Canadian Medical Centre, and Qomrah Photography also generated massive interest from all in attendance, while the hugely popular ‘Move & Groove with Riya Berry Choreography’ kept onlookers highly entertained.

Some of the region’s most popular tastemakers and influencers were also in attendance at BRIDE Dubai 2019. Visitors were given exclusive opportunities to meet and greet the leading trendsetters, including  Noha Nabil, bride-to-be Dana Al Tuwarish, Latifa Al Shamsi, Al Reem Saif, and Fatma Husam, currently making major waves across the fashion, beauty, health and lifestyle industries.

Master cake artists, such as Chateau Blanc, House of Cakes, The Cake Lab, LADURÉE, Decorative Cakes by Manuri, and Magnolia Bakery, were also on hand, over the four days of BRIDE Dubai 2019, to showcase their phenomenal skills. There was no shortage of amazement as intrigued visitors sampled a breath-taking exhibition of cake artistry, which featured expertly crafted, locally designed cakes created exclusively for the event.

Excitement built throughout the week for the BRIDE Wedding Awards and the ceremony certainly didn’t disappoint, as industry leaders had they expertise recognised. The BRIDE Wedding Awards saw Polish designer Vanda Novak take home the coveted Bridal Designer Boutique awards, whilst DANS won the Music and Entertainment Award. Meminco Creations received the Wedding Photographer & Videographer award and Co-Originality picked up the Wedding Favours award. La Marquise landed the Wedding Jewellery & Accessories award and the Wedding Organisers & Planners award was won by Vivaah Weddings. Zaya Nurai Island claimed the Wedding Venue award and the crowd’s vote crowned Dubai Opera the winner of the People’s Choice award, certainly one to watch in the world of wedding venues.

BRIDE Dubai 2019’s collaboration with The Ministry of Community Development (MOCD) was warmly received by all in attendance over the course of the week. A special stand displaying the products of the people of determination “Qeladah”, “Acrylic”, “Tasneem Chocolates” and “Janna Dates” garnered great interest and excitement. The ministry’s participation in the event was in line with the national policy to empower the people of determination, which was declared by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, UAE Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

Anticipation will undoubtedly be even higher for next year’s event at DWTC following the success of BRIDE Dubai 2019.
