BMW Motorrad makes its first appearance at the Motor Show for the first time  

Saudi Arabia, Jeddah - BMW Motorrad, the collection of premium two-wheelers from the BMW Group, made its debut at the EXCS Motor Show in Jeddah with a high-performance line-up composed of  R 1200 R, S 1000 XR and R 1200 GS Adventure, the ultimate cross country touring machine.

The presence of the premium motorcycles at the motor show was another landmark occasion after Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Motors, the official importer for the BMW Group in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, launched the brand in the Kingdom in late 2015. Following the opening of the first showroom in Jeddah, the elite brand has charted an expansion course covering the Western province as well as the Central and Eastern provinces throughout 2016.

Once of the standout models was the Heritage – R Nine T Scrambler, a model for the minimalist, who appreciates substance and unique styling and which makes the rider standout on every route and surface. With a four-stroke engine and six-speed gear box giving the rider 110hp, it is the perfect combination of style and power.

 

Packing a four-stroke engine capable of 125 bhp, the BMW R 1200 GS is the perfect machine for riders raring to take on challenging terrain ranging from bumpy roads to harsh desert terrain. With two standard riding modes – Rain and Road – the bike offers two completely different, finely harmonised ride responses. There is also an on-board computer, which will enable perfect navigation, making it ideal for lengthy journeys.  

 

The BMW K1600 GTL is an unparalleled high-class touring bike: with the most compact and efficient in-line 6-cylinder engine ever installed in a series production motorcycle, it is designed for long trips and offers optimum comfort to both riders and pillion passengers. The slim design surrounding the rider's seat and roomy reach of the handlebars, allows for a relaxed seating position for riders travelling over hundreds of kilometres.

 

Also on display was the Roadster R 1200 R and S 1000 XR as well as the S 1000 RR, fitted with the strongest engine in its segment. All models sold by Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors will come standard with ABS braking and a two-year open mileage international factory warranty, guaranteeing customers’ peace of mind throughout the ownership period.

Since its inception in 2007, the EXCS Motor Show has garnered mass appeal in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This year’s exhibition took place between 18 and 21 October, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
