Bin Sulayem: Celebrating Flag Day embodies the Pioneering Position of this Good Land

Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation celebrates Flag Day in its different locations

 

The Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation  (PCFC) celebrated Flag Day in a number of its various sites, in response to the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who called for the celebration of Flag Day as a symbol of the state, sovereignty and unity on the 3rd of November at 11:00 in the morning.

 

In the presence of a number of Executive Directors, Department Managers and a group of employees and customers, the state flag was raised in front of the Corporation's headquarters in Port Rashid, by H.E. Nasser Abdullah, Vice President of PCFC, and in the presence of Mahmoud Amin, Executive Director of the Marine Agency of Wooding Dhows.

 

H.E. Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, stressed that the celebration of Flag Day is a dear occasion to the hearts of all citizens and residents of the UAE as it embodies the pioneering position of this good land under one banner.

 

Bin Sulayem said: "Today, we renew our pledge of loyalty and obedience and continue efforts to achieve more achievements and successes that contribute to the country's progress and renaissance and enhance its position in various fields, in order to continue the path of wise leadership, starting with the early founders led by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, May Allah bless his soul, to reach what we are today under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and their brothers, their Highnesses members of the Supreme Council and rulers of the Emirates”.
