BCG Strengthens Its Telecom and Industrial Goods Practice Areas with the Addition of Two New Partners

As it continues to accelerate growth in the Middle East, strengthening its market position and catering to developing segments in the region, The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has announced the appointment of two new partners to its Middle East partner team. Oscar Ruiz has joined as a partner in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice, and Heinz Pley has joined the Industrial Goods practice.

    

BCG has been consciously appointing new members to its Middle East team to optimize the continuous development and transformation of the region to fulfill key priority areas in an effort to increase its presence in the region, strengthen its sector-specific expertise, widen its client portfolio, and drive new market growth.

Oscar Ruiz, Co-Leader of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice area, has more than 20 years of telecommunications experience both as Partner in top management consulting and as C-level in the sector when he was President of British Telecom (BT) International and SVP BT Group Strategy. His main areas of expertise are corporate strategy development and organizational transformation, having led major transformational programs with the CEOs and management teams of some of the world’s top Operators and Technology firms both regionally and globally.

 

Heinz Pley, BCG's Global Head of Mining, brings more than 20 years’ experience as a top management consultant, investment banker, transformation expert, and principal investor for the benefit of his clients, who he advises on how to shape and execute winning strategies and build the requisite organizational capability to sustain value creation on a steady basis. He is a long-standing trusted advisor to the world’s largest diversified resources company across many commodities, geographies, and functional areas.
