Reuben Mifsud, Cluster General Manager, Meydan Hotels & Hospitality has announced the appointment of Ziad Sleiman as Executive Assistant Manager – Operations at Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa, recently named as ‘Middle East Leading Desert Resort’ by the ‘World Travel Awards’ for its 7th year.

 

The Lebanese national has started his professional career in 1999 and is bringing to this award-winning luxury desert resort more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality sector in Lebanon and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In his role, Ziad will manage all aspects of the resort’s operations, its food and beverage service and culinary departments. Furthermore, he will be overseeing the hotel’s in-room dining, banquet food and beverage operations in addition to eight restaurants and lounges including award-winning desert restaurant Al Hadheerah, authentic Northern Indian restaurant Masala, international all-day dining Al Forsan, award-winning Al Sarab Rooftop Lounge, traditional Italian outlet Le Dune, Ya Hala Lobby Lounge and the Pool Bar.
