Arabian Centres shopping malls welcomed over nine million visitors during month-long Spring Shopping Festival

Arabian Centres, the leading developer, owner and operator of international standard shopping malls in Saudi Arabia, today announced that it has attracted nine million visitors over the month long Spring Shopping Festival concluded on April 18, 2016. 

 

The exciting shopping festival that was launched in 16 of the 18 malls in the Arabian Centres portfolio, gave away prizes worth SAR1.5 million. During the festival period, all visitors to the participating shopping malls were entitled to participate in a mega raffle promotion with no minimum shopping amount value restrictions, giving away shopping vouchers worth SAR 5,000 to 300 lucky winners.

 

The raffle draw, in addition to discounts and new collections were the biggest appeal for visitors, resulting in increased sales at over 3,400 retail and foodservice outlets across shopping malls in Arabian Centres portfolio. 

 

Commenting on the success of the shopping festival, Simon Wilcock, CEO of Arabian Centres, said: “Being able to attract nine million visitors in a month demonstrates the single most strength of Arabian Centres – our ability to offer unmatched shopping and leisure destinations for our visitors and retailers alike. The huge success that we enjoyed during the period is also a testament to kingdom’s standing as a regional retail hub which is poised for rapid growth in the years to come.”

 

Lucky winners of the raffle draws will be announced on Arabian Centres’ social media platforms. 

 

Malls that participated in the Spring Shopping Festival included:

 

In the Western region - Mall of Arabia in Jeddah, Aziz Mall in Jeddah, Al Salaam Mall in Jeddah, Haifaa Mall in Jeddah, Al Noor Mall in Madinah, Makkah Mall in Makkah, and Jouri Mall in Taif. 

 

In the Central region – Salaam Mall in Riyadh, Al Nakheel Mall in Riyadh, Khurais Mall in Riyadh, Tala Mall in Riyadh, Salma Mall in Hail, and Al Nakheel Mall in Qassim. 

 

In the Eastern region – Mall of Dhahran in Dammam, Al Ahsa Mall in Hofuf, and Al Jubail Mall in Jubail.
