Alpha Destination Management Company Participates at MICE roadshow in Europe

The UAE-based Alpha Destination Management, a leading
destination management company in the GCC region has strongly
participated at the recently-concluded Meetings, Incentives,
Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE Roadshow), organized by Dubai
Business Events (DBE), Dubai’s official convention bureau.
The event was held in three major cities of the European countries,
namely Zurich, Vienna and Paris from May9– 15, 2016.
Top management representatives including Emirates Airlines, Dubai
World Trade Center and two Dubai-based hotels also attended the event.
The main concept behind our participation at the roadshow was to
project and share our company’s latest solutions, ideas and networking
initiatives in the MICE sector with the business communities abroad.
This was stated by Abdullah Aridi, Director- Sales and Operations - Mice
Alpha Destination Management, adding that Dubai is a global business
hub.
He lauded the role of Dubai Business Events (DBE) for hosting a
remarkable and successful event outside the UAE in order to further
stimulate the MICE sector in the country.
“In each city we met several corporate clients representing different
segments of MICE sector including Information Technology (IT),
Medical, Bankers and many other corporate companies as well as  International Event Management Companies ,”
he added.
Aridi discloses that Dubai aims to double the number of visitors to
the Emirate to around 20 million per year by 2020, adding that his
company is working to grow the Emirate into a global knowledge hub by
showcasing Dubai’s diverse offerings.
He noted that organizing such a roadshows are bringing more awareness
among the masses and is supporting corporate buyers, event experts and
meeting planners to enter new avenues.
Aridi expressed his optimism that Dubai is a safe haven for
foreigners, adding that MICE-related activities in  the Emirate would
gain pace in 2016 and beyond.
