Almarai Company won the first place in the Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Award as the best Arab company to use the means of social media communication in the Arab world.

 

This came during a press conference in Kuwait where the award was announced in its 15th version and Ten Arab Companies win in the areas of public and private sectors, education and health sectors, and civil society sectors as the best use of the means of social media communication in the Arab world.

 

The deputy chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Award Engineer Bassam al-Shammari stated in a press conference:” The idea of ​​the award this year was to honor Arab sectors for the best use of the means of social media communication in the Arab world in the areas of government and the private education, health, civil society sector as a result of the rising role that carried out by these means in the recent period and the development and deployment broad witnessed in addition to the direct impact on the lives of individuals.

 

Shammari said that the judging criteria for choosing the winners included the quality and comprehensiveness of content and diversity of the display as well as the design quality and the extent of its diversity and quality of interaction and inclusiveness.

 

He congratulated the winners of informatics award in its 15th year indicating that the winners will receive their awards at the closing ceremony which will be under royal patronage in December.
