Almajdouie Motors, the authorized distributor for Changan cars in Saudi Arabia, announced its sponsorship for “Yatek Khairha” initiative for women safe driving, which was held from April 16 to 18 in Riyadh. “Yatek Khairha” is the first of its kind in terms of content and its specialized message, multiple sections and topics of dialogue for the welfare of women and her family upon driving the car. 

The initiative was held with the presence of her Excellency the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Development Dr. Tamador Alramah, at the instructions of his Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Disabled Children’s Association, who had contended for the establishment of scientific, awareness and cultural forum directed at the woman and her family. The initiative was organized in cooperation with the General Directorate of Traffic.

This initiative came to address various aspects related to women driving cars, in response to the Royal instructions to allow a woman to drive a car, as well as to address a lot of calls that reduce women's capacity for driving, and educate motorists in particular and society in general to deal with it naturally, and not look at it as a surprising break to customs and traditions.

On this occasion, her Excellency Dr. Tamador Alramah, said: "we are here today to further promote the continued stimulation of Saudi women by the Government and continuous monitoring for her successes and achievements toward a brighter future with the permission of Allah, as well as to use her potentials and energies for the benefit of herself, her family and her country.” 

Meanwhile, Mohammed Ali Almajdouie, MD of Almajdouie Motors Company – Changan, commented on the launch of this initiative for the first time in Saudi Arabia, by saying:” our participation in this initiative as a “Gold Sponsor” comes in support to the Royal instructions to allow woman to drive cars, as well as a reflection of Almajdouie - Changan’s strategy, which is focused on our participation in all community activities that address issues of society, its evolution and welfare.”
