The activities of the 32nd instalment of Gulf Traffic Week 2016, commenced in the showroom of Aljomaih Automotive, the largest dealer of General Motors in KSA and the Middle East, in Al Qaryat province. The event was graciously sponsored by his Excellency Governor of Al Qaryat, Mr. Abdullah Bin Saleh Al Jaser, and held in the honorable presence of the Director of Traffic Management, Head of the Ministry of Commerce branch and other heads of governmental departments in the province.  

 

Under the slogan of “Your Decision Determines Your Fate”, the event highlighted the importance of traffic safety and safe driving, through an awareness-raising exhibition and numerous events about safety for road users, which stressed the significance of abiding by rules and regulations while driving a vehicle. Also, there were posters educating the public across all age groups about traffic safety, and clarifying the traffic services offered to them. Moreover, lectures were held for car drivers, especially the youth, about the importance of safe driving according to traffic rules. During the event, an interactive theater was held that included events and competitions, in addition to teams presenting awareness-raising shows about traffic safety. Numerous visitors from all age groups attended those events, in addition to a distinctive participation from individuals with special needs, which was especially important in instilling the holistic concept of safe driving.

 

Additionally, Aljomaih Automotive conducted numerous concurrent events in the occasion of the Gulf Traffic Week across all its showrooms in the Kingdom. The company is deeply involved in its social responsibility campaign, which drives it to support socially helpful activities in society, especially as they are beneficial to the Kingdom and its citizens.
