Al Rabie Participates in “Gulfood 2015” Food Industry Exhibition

Al Rabie Saudi Foods Company Ltd. has participated in the “Gulfood 2015” exhibition in its 20th round. Gulfood is the world’s biggest annual food, beverage and hospitality show, which activities concluded recently in Dubai World Trade Center. The exhibition took place in an expansive one million+ square feet, accommodating 4,800 international companies from 120 countries.

Al Sharif MONTHER TRAD ALHARTHI, CEO of Al Rabie Saudi Foods Company Ltd. Has stated: “Al Rabie, the leading dairy and Juice Company participated effectively in the 20th round of Gulfood exhibition with diversified and featured range of products, in addition to participation in some activities such as holding series of strategic meetings and forums to discuss key issues that contribute to the development of food and beverages sector”.

Monther confirmed that Al Rabie Saudi Foods Company was always proactive to represent the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in this important event and through the previous rounds as well. The company coordinates its efforts in this respect with many partners in the export fields, in order to market its brand name and inform about the development witnessed by the juice and food industry in the Kingdom, in many countries. This is in addition to financing a number of activities which help the company keeps its leading position in Saudi Arabia, GCC countries and the Middle East.

Monther praised the role played by Gulfood in establishing the position of Dubai as a leading destination for commerce, hospitality, logistic services and food industry in the world during the last three decades.
The 20th round activities were concluded recently after five days of prestigious event. Taking place on an area of 127,000 square meters, the international platform witnessed heated commercial activities encompassing 80,000 visitors.

“Gulfood 2015” provided unique trading opportunities for visitors to choose from a wide range of food products from around the world and entering into contracts with their suppliers. The opportunity also found their way thousands of visitors to know the latest trends and innovations in food, beverages, food services, hospitality equipment, restaurants and cafes requirements and many other aspects related to food and hospitality sectors.
The opportunities were also enhanced by the Gulfood’s hosting of the “Halal Food World" exhibition, which attracted 50,000 halal food products this year and succeeded in consolidating its position as the largest annual trade show for the halal food sources in the world.

More than 1,000 experts and the sector’s concerned people participated in "Gulfood Activities for Leaders", which continued over 3 days and saw the holding of the World Food Summit, Halal Investment Conference and Food Franchise Licenses Conference.
