Al ‘Obour Exhibition concludes its activities with a presentation of workshops outcomes

After three months of artistic engagement with a wide spectrum of public, Al ‘Obour exhibition concludes its functions with a presentation of its workshops’ outcomes. The three-month contemporary art exhibition which was organized and managed for the sixth year by the Saudi Art Council has attracted a lot of national, regional and international attention. 

 
Dr. Effat Fadag, Exhibition Curator, pointed out that the total number of visitors to the exhibition exceeded 20 thousand visitors, including international curators, academic specialists, artists from outside the Kingdom, as well as Saudi officials and various personalities who came specifically to visit the exhibition and to see the development of art in the Kingdom.
 
“We were inspired by the Kingdom’s vision 2030, which gives the arts a great deal of attention, especially as our leadership is aware of the importance of the arts in raising and enriching the quality of life.
 
Fadag explained that the exhibition concluded its activities with a special presentation of the outcomes of the workshops held during the period of its interaction, which included around 8 long-term and short-term workshops addressing various artistic techniques and literary discussions.
