Al Jomaih Automotive Company (AAC), the largest dealer for General Motors in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, unveiled the new 2016 Cadillac Escalade Platinum vehicle at the ninth edition of EXCS International Luxury Motor Show 2015, held on Oct. 20-22 in the Kingdom Hall at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh. 

 

A spirited design for an ever-changing world, the Cadillac Escalade Platinum is a crossover with daring style, space and safety. In addition to the unique category SUV, bold looks with advanced technology, its athletic exterior complements an airy cabin that’s home to a thoughtful combination of high-tech features and cut-and-sewn details. Seamlessly blending beauty, technology, functionality and performance, the Escalade leaves no room—or need—for compromise.

 

As exhilarating as it is dramatic, the 2016 MY – Cadillac Escalade Platinum AWD features a potent direct-injection 6.2L V8 DI engine that is capable to produce 420 horsepower with 623 lb-ft of torque in a 8-speed automatic transmission for a superior acceleration and a smooth delivery.

 

For its safety and security, the crossover features frontal and side-impact air bags for driver and front passenger, driver inboard seat-mounted side-impact and head curtain side-impact for all rows in outboard seating positions. 

 

The Cadillac Escalade Platinum is fitted with Tire Pressure Monitoring System aside from climate control, dual-zone automatic, audio system, AM/FM stereo, single disc CD player, USB port and auxiliary jack and superior BOSE® 16-Speaker CENTERPOINT® SURROUND SOUND system. 

 

Sheikh Waleed Aljomaih, Chief Operation Officer of Aljomaih Automotive Company, said the Cadillac Escalade Platinum AWD comes with a five-star safety rating. Bold, potent, refined and ingenious, this is a crossover that steadfastly refuses to follow. 

 

It is also equipped with torque-vectoring Haldex All-Wheel Drive system that seamlessly masters changing road conditions, he added.

Moreover, Rudy Girgis, Operations Director of Aljomaih Automotive Company, added that the 2016 Cadillac Escalade Platinum AWD would definitely be a head-turner at the upcoming EXCS event in Riyadh for its external and internal stunning bold features.

 

He said the crossover’s navigation system alone, its control structure has been simplified for easier destination entry and quicker destination searches. Map screens have been redesigned for easier use, including one-touch control of commonly used features like "muting" voiced navigation instructions and route cancellation.
