HH Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, honored the Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) for sponsoring and supporting the 4th Gulf Business Women Forum that was held on 9 and 10 November at Fairmont Ajman Hotel.

 

In line with its commitment to support the Forum and keenness to communicate with different cultures and civilizations from the Gulf, the Arab countries and the world, the ATDD held and organized in the first day of the forum a touristic tour for more than 100 participants on the Ajman City sightseeing Bus tour to discover the city of Ajman and its major destinations.

 

The tour was followed by a dinner at the Ajman Museum, where the attendees enjoyed the traditional atmosphere and popular delicious cooking especially prepared in their honor. The guests also witnessed several traditional & cultural programs, and experienced the traditional Hanna painting.

 

Dima Haddad, Board member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Kingdom of Bahrain expressed her happiness to visit the emirate of Ajman, “my visit to Ajman was very fruitful and at the same time enjoyable in terms of communicating with business women in the Gulf, and entertainment, and I would like to thank everyone for making the trip to the beautiful Ajman enjoyable.”

 

Nouf Al Haqbani, business women and member of the Saudi French Council in Saudi Arabia said that she is pleased to be present in Ajman, and determined to open a new investment opportunity in the emirate besides her business in Saudi Arabia.

 

Dr. Amal bin Rashed Al Abroy, president of the Entrepreneurs Club in Oman highlighted that Ajman opened new horizons for her to communicate more with the members of the society and expand her entrepreneurial skills and motivate the community to increase creativity and business development.

 

ATDD hosted as well Princess Sameera Bin Abdullah Al-Faisal Al-Farhan Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, Sheikha Mariam Al-Sabah of Kuwait, along with Princess Noura bin Abdullah Al- Faisal Al-Farhan Al-Saud and other women in the Gulf business.

 

On her part, Dalal Marzouki, Head of Research and Development at ATDD, said: "We at ATDD are very proud of sponsoring and supporting 4th Gulf Business Women Forum members, and we thank HH Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi for honoring us, and we look forward to expand our circle to host more visitors, conferences and forums and introduce them to the magnificent nature and community of our beloved country, and we hope that we contributed in this forum to increase the network of communication between the participants, and exchange experiences in the GCC, as well as providing delightful entertaining experience and enjoyable leisure and heritage adventure at the same time.

 

The "4th Gulf Business Women Forum “under the emblem of "Knowledge -Leadership -Future", was held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, and under the umbrella of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry Council  in GCC, and Chambers of Commerce and Industry Council in UAE. The aim of this forum is to share knowledge and experiences among businesswomen and to examine the obstacles that prevent it, and to confirm the leading role that empowers women in business and investment. It also aims to offer investment opportunities for projects and enhances communication channels between businesswomen at the GCC level, and to build young women's capacities through courses, workshops, training and rehabilitation in order to provide them with new skills.
