Samsung Electronics understood early on, that the breakthrough of TV technology relies not only in the brightness of the screen, the crispness of the colors and the details of the pictures. It calls upon new technologies such as the Nano-crystal technology and the High Dynamic Range definition, which can deliver levels of color beyond expected and high picture quality, to give birth to a completely new understanding of home entertainment and an utterly immersive viewing experience.

By exceeding the quality of similar models with excellent color expression, details and rich audio quality, the SUHD TV has once more - unsurprisingly, pushed the TV industry to prominence. Worldwide positive and acclaiming editorial reviews brought 31 awards onto SUHD TV’s table in the first half of 2015 alone. 

Renowned IT editors listed down the specifications and unmatched features which contributed to their positive reviews: purity of the picture strengthened by new technology, the large, colorful icons that only occupy a relatively small screen area, the possibility to keep watching full-screen TV while the menus are navigated, the most uniform backlight ever seen and a wider color spectrum amongst many other refined abilities.

Executive Vice President JH Han, the Research and Development office leader commented on this very proud result: ‘Samsung has dedicated its efforts to redefine the home entertainment experience. It’s worth noting that Samsung has reached top rankings in more than a country, and distinguished itself starting the year with 36 awards received at the Consumer Electronics Show alone, in Las Vegas.
