Unsurprisingly, the new Silverado HD brings a 22% increase in peak torque, enhancing its towing capability by 18%, compared with the preceding Silverado HD 6.0L.

 

The 2020 Silverado HD is the strongest and most capable ever. Packed with several advanced features and technologies, the Silverado HD is smart too. For example, the Silverado HD is equipped with an Advanced Trailering System technologies and new Transparent Trailer View* with an in-vehicle trailering system, which features 15 available camera views (*requires an installed accessory camera). 

 

Add to the equation the available, class-exclusive power up/down tailgate that can be operated from the key fob, interior button or by hand and the Silverado HD makes adventuring easier than ever. For instance, the BedStep feature and larger CornerSteps makes it easier to load or reach items in the cargo box, adding another layer of convenience.

 

The 2020 Silverado HD is longer, wider and taller than its predecessor and is available in three distinct trims. The Durabed is the most functional bed of any full-size truck and, from carrying jet skis for a day out on the surf to towing a trailer, the Silverado HD’s roll-formed, high-strength steel bed floor offers outstanding cargo capacity.
