200 companies participating in SFDA annual Conference & Exhibition including 120 national companies

SFDA revealed the launch of the annual conference in its third edition, which starts on 30 September until October 2, 2019 with a ceremony inaugurated by His Excellency the Chairman of the Board Members of the Authority Dr. Tawfiq Ben Fawzan al-Rabiah.

which is entitled "Consumer engagement and Consumer-centered regulation"

This year' 22 countries participated of the exhibition & conference, such as Pakistan, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Denmark, Sudan, the United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh, Palestine, Turkey and Australia. In addition of 120 local companies.

In its previous statement, SFDA also explained that, the number of participators is higher comparing with the number of 2017-2018 editions.

SFDA stressed that the objectives of this year's conference & exhibition are fully in line with its plans for national transformation and its ambitions in line with the Kingdom's vision 2030, attracting business minds and investors, and partnering with the ultimate consumer to serve the community with the best products and services.

The exhibition includes 200 pavilions, 68 workshops, lectures and a conference session with 120 local and international speakers throughout the conference days and 53 sponsoring companies.

SFDA also stated that, this continued success has been carried out with the solidarity of its employees and companies supporting this conference, pointing out the positive role of these companies in achieving the objectives of the conference and its vision, which aims to achieve safety in the three sectors of food, medicine and medical devices, and what motivates them to support others to Participation, support and innovation in the sector, and without the remarkable solidarity between the public and private sector, this vision would not have been achieved.

In an expected gesture from SFDA and its initiatives in appreciating all the supporting efforts in the success of the conference, a paragraph of the closing ceremony of the conference was dedicated to thanking all companies and their representatives, employees of the Authority, volunteers and all those responsible for the success of the conference.
