Acting Minister of Media meets with editors-in-chief of local newspapers

Acting Minister of Media, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi held a virtual meeting with the editors-in-chief of local newspapers.
During the meeting, several media topics and ways of developing journalistic work were discussed, in addition to review of the developments of the media sector, digital media and ways to develop them to enhance the media and to keep pace with the media development in the press field in line with 2030 vision.
Al-Qasabi listened to the opinions and suggestions of editors-in-chief to develop journalistic work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi affirmed the interest and support for the local newspapers by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and their keenness to develop the Saudi press to play its active media role at the local, regional and international levels, and to highlight the appropriate position of the Kingdom as the country of the Two Holy Mosques.
